AmeriCraft Homes, a new for-sale builder backed by veteran developer Art Falcone, has launched a multi-state platform to deliver “attainable luxury” communities in Florida and the Carolinas, with a hospitality-style customer experience. The Boca Raton-based company was announced on June 24.

The model positions itself at the overlap of semi-custom and production building, leaning into curated design. The move targets a niche that has seen growing buyer interest in recent quarters as demand for move-in-ready homes with premium finishes remains resilient.

Mortgage rates have hovered near multi-decade highs, squeezing affordability for first-time buyers. However, higher-end segments—especially those offering hospitality-style amenities—have continued to see activity, as wealthier buyers are less rate-sensitive. AmeriCraft’s entry capitalizes on this dynamic.

For buyers, the platform may offer a middle ground between mass-produced developments and fully custom builds. However, inventory in the luxury segment has been rising in some Sun Belt markets, which could create increased competition and temper price growth for new entrants.

The success of such a model will depend on execution and local market absorption rates. Some economists caution that even attainable luxury could face headwinds if economic uncertainty persists or if insurance costs in Florida and the Carolinas continue to escalate.
