01Health, a London-based HealthTech startup, has raised €12.9 million ($15 million) in Series A funding to expand its platform that pushes specialist care from hospitals and major medical hubs into local clinics. The company aims to bridge the gap between high-end Harley Street expertise and convenient high street access.

The round was led by Gresham House Ventures, with continued support from existing backer Balderton. The funding will be used to scale the platform's reach and develop its technology, bringing more specialist services to communities that currently rely on centralized facilities.

This approach targets a fragmented healthcare market where specialist appointments are often concentrated in a few expensive locations, creating access and cost barriers. 01Health's model competes with traditional hospital networks and telehealth services by offering in-person specialist visits at neighborhood clinics, blending convenience with quality.

For the broader HealthTech space, this signals growing investor appetite for decentralized care models that reduce system strain and patient travel. The startup's success could accelerate a shift toward community-based specialist care, potentially lowering costs and improving outcomes for chronic conditions.

Founders Emil Biju and Aditya Sharma previously built healthcare platforms before launching 01Health. The company has not disclosed current patient numbers or clinic partnerships, noting that details remain proprietary at this stage.
