Bio-Sourcing and The Tiny Cargo Company have entered a strategic collaboration to co-develop orally delivered monoclonal antibody (mAb)-based therapies. The partnership focuses on formulating these treatments using goat milk-derived extracellular vesicles, including exosomes, as delivery vehicles.
The collaboration represents an innovative approach to overcoming the traditional challenge of delivering protein-based drugs like monoclonal antibodies through oral administration. Extracellular vesicles from goat milk could potentially protect therapeutic antibodies from degradation in the digestive system while facilitating absorption.
