Redwire secured a $12.8 million contract from Moog to provide solar arrays for the Meteor satellite bus, which has been ordered by an undisclosed national security customer. The contract, announced March 24, represents the first commercial award for Redwire's newly unveiled solar array technology.

The contract covers delivery of Extensible Low-Profile Solar Array (ELSA) wings specifically designed for Moog's Meteor satellite platform. ELSA technology, which Redwire unveiled earlier this month, is engineered to provide 50% more power generation capability compared to previous solar array designs.
