Medical device manufacturer Stryker confirmed that malware was involved in a recent cyberattack that forced the company to shut down production lines. The attack, attributed to alleged Iranian cyber actors, resulted in the wiping of more than 200,000 company devices.
The incident caused significant operational disruption, forcing Stryker to halt production across its manufacturing facilities. The company has been working to restore systems and resume normal operations following the attack two weeks ago.
