Rhonexum, a Swiss quantum technology startup based in Lausanne, has raised $1 million in pre-seed funding to develop cryogenic electronics for quantum computing applications.
The round was led by QDNL Participations, with participation from Venture Kick and additional grant support, according to Tech.eu.
Quantum computers require components that can operate at extremely low temperatures, presenting unique engineering challenges that Rhonexum appears to be addressing through specialized electronics. The company is among a growing number of European startups targeting the quantum computing supply chain rather than building quantum computers themselves.
