Daiwa House Industry's U.S. homebuilding subsidiary Trumark Homes has acquired Washington-based homebuilder JK Monarch, expanding the Japanese company's geographical footprint in the American housing market. The acquisition comes ahead of Daiwa House's 8th Medium-Term Management Plan unveiling scheduled for May.
The deal establishes a stronger Washington state presence for Daiwa House's U.S. operations, adding to what the company describes as a cohesive homebuilding platform spanning across the country's busiest markets. JK Monarch brings regional market knowledge and established operations to Trumark's portfolio.
