The US State Department approved $23 billion in arms sales to three Arab allies in notices sent to Congress on Thursday. The UAE will receive more than $8 billion in air defense systems and related equipment, including drones, air-to-air missiles, and F-16 fighter jet munitions. Kuwait was approved for $8 billion in missile defense and radar systems, while Jordan will receive $70.5 million in aircraft and munitions support.
