Defense contractor Parsons has unveiled a new hybrid satellite antenna system designed specifically for military applications. The antenna was developed in collaboration with Raven Defense and represents a technological advancement in military satellite communications infrastructure.
The hybrid antenna combines a six-meter parabolic dish with an electronically steered phased-array feed system. This design merges traditional dish antenna technology with modern phased-array capabilities, potentially offering enhanced performance characteristics for military communications operations.
