Türkiye has formally outlined its plans for the COP31 climate summit, setting dates for both a preparatory meeting and the main event. In an open letter, Murat Kurum provided details for the conference, which will be held in the coastal city of Antalya.

The announcement marks a key logistical step for the 2026 UN climate negotiations. The schedule includes an October pre-COP meeting in the Pacific region, followed by the leaders' summit in November.
