Even after the flurry of free agency, trades, and the NFL draft, no roster is perfect. Every team still carries at least one position that demands urgent attention, according to a league-wide assessment.

The analysis, published by ESPN, examines all 32 clubs to identify the single most significant hole on each depth chart. These gaps range from glaring deficiencies in the offensive line to lack of depth at cornerback or pass rusher.

Each team's weakness is evaluated based on current roster construction, recent departures, and the quality of remaining backups. For some contenders, the void could be a season-derailing liability; for rebuilding clubs, it's a priority for next year's draft.

Front offices now face a critical period of roster management. Undrafted free agent signings, post-June 1 cap casualties, and potential trade targets offer limited avenues for repair before training camps open.

Some teams may find solutions internally, relying on development of young players. But for many, the identified weakness will linger as a storyline through the summer and into the season.
